3 AMIGAS 07.04.2011

3 out of the 8 girls began to have Mondays off the whole month of July and they were looking for a little adventure.
Before July 4th, Heaven, Jenifer and DeLisa had been drawn to each other they became friends instantly but it took time for them to become the 3 Amiga’s.  The College Program began in May but in July is where the true story begins.  The first and my favorite Amiga Monday began on July 4th 2011 the official Amigaversay.  It all started when Jenifer de Jesus and Heaven Nunley and I went to celebrate  Independence Day  at Magic Kingdom with the oh so fabulous firework show. However, we got stuck in traffic at the Ticket and Transportation Center. So I taped the firework show from the TTC and once the firework show was over we brainstormed in the parking lot as to what to do next. We decided we were hungry so we were looking for a bite to eat. I suggested, my favorite Disney restaurant ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.  At first we were willing to settle for the Kona Café but instead we patiently waited and when I mean waited I mean we  had a photo shoot in the gift shop.  To think that we were going to get into one of Disney’s hottest restaurants on a holiday was like mission impossible. But who did it? Oh yes the 3 Amigas  but of course with a little help of that wonderful Disney Magic.  The food and entertainment was amazing and we absolutely loved it. After we finished eating we headed on down to the Luau cove which was like a tropical oasis. We took pictures and this is when Heaven and I were informed that we would be bridesmaids in Jenifer’s wedding. At that time the colors were red and brown.  Life is so funny how things work out and we took crazy pictures, made  footprints in the sand and there is one picture I will NEVER EVER forget. I wanted to lay in the sand in one picture so I plopped into the sand, stretched my hands high and well it didn’t agree with my tube top and I flashed the camera. Oh my goodness, it was so embarrassing and so hilarious all at the same time. Life seemed to have changed for me it was getting very Sex and the City like. We left Luau Cove and got on the monorail, where we had another photo shoot.  There’s something about friendship that I had never experienced before. The ability to be myself at all times without any caution or any explanation.
